Sustainability is one of the cornerstones in our strategy and thus we are constantly developing new ways to make our events more climate-friendly. As a concrete tool in our  tool kit we use the Reuse rate -calculator which, as the name implies, allows us to measure the exact re-use percentage of the exhibition stands we implement.

The Reuse rate of every exhibition stand is expressed as a percentage between 0 and 100.

At the beginning of the planning process for an exhibition stand, a Reuse rate target is set. The target then impacts the decisions and solutions made in the planning process. The percentage is monitored throughout the project and a final, achieved Reuse percentage is calculated after the event. The Reuse rate logo, designed entirely for this purpose, communicates the Reuse rates of any of the stands we have planned and produced. Items that cannot be reused will be properly sorted and recycled.

Reuse rate 95 %: Airbus Critical Communications World 2023, Helsinki, Finland

As Airbus, as for us, sustainability is an important cornerstone. While the company participates in several exhibitions and fairs, any tools for concretely impacting the sustainability of exhibitions are very welcome to Airbus.

Together with Airbus we designed the Airbus stand for the Critical Communications World 2023 in Helsinki, Finland with a high Reuse rate as a main target.

With a professional and target-oriented design process we were able to execute a high-end yet functional stand with the impressive Reuse rate of 95%.

The Reuse rate is formed by amounts of rental equipment, materials reused by the builder, elements reused by the customer and amounts of sorting and recycling.

Here’s how a Reuse rate of 95% was achieved:

LED video wall, Reuse rate 100% Custom made content came to life on a custom shaped 88 m2 video wall mounted on the beMatrix frame.

Product demo kiosks, Reuse rate 100% The demo kiosks have been used previously by Airbus and will be used again at future events.

Stand structure, Reuse rate 98% The beMatrix frame is modular and can be used for a multitude of executions. Only a few purpose-built parts will be recycled but nothing goes to landfills.

Furniture and cabinets, Reuse rate 95% All furniture is rented and cabinets will be reused at future events. A few individual parts will be recycled but nothing goes to landfills.

Flooring, Reuse rate 86% Rewind carpets are made from 100% recycled material. Most parts are repurposed as packaging and protective material. All suitable floor panels are cleaned, fixed and reused at future events.
