The Nordics’ largest event marketing agency TAPAUS Ltd. has appointed Lauri Vassinen as Creative Director, as of January 2020. Lauri has 20 years of experience in advertising and creative design, having served as Nord DDB’s CEO and Creative Director, as well as in the roles of art director, illustrator, graphic designer and animator. This new appointment will help TAPAUS meet the growing demand for more creative and unique encounters.

TAPAUS’s design department has grown from zero to 16 professionals in just seven years. Lauri will focus on developing the design team’s work and TAPAUS’s design culture, making sure they’re aligned with the strong project management and professional event creation for which TAPAUS is already well-known.

Lauri and Timo are both old-school skaters who share a passion for the sport. In 2016, they partnered with Tony Hawk and Nordic Business Forum on a pro bono charity event called Sk8 for Good. They’re currently working on Chasing the Spot, which is a project that’s working with corporate sponsors to pave the way for Finland’s first national skateboarding team to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
